Family Therapy
In my practice, I believe in the power of collaboration when working with families. While I meet my families where they are at, I have often found that there is the most progress in family work occurs in gathering thorough history and understanding around the roles of each family member and the patterns that continue to play out. Once the patterns have been identified, psycho education is provided to aid each family member understand their role and ways to shift the role.
By adopting a Strategic focused approach, we delve into the roles and dynamics that shape family interactions and keep the unwanted patterns continuing. By identify the underlying concerns, families can be empowered resolve their challenges together over the course of the family work. Together we can foster understanding and create meaningful change.
