My Approach

My personal commitment as a psychotherapist is to fully understand your experiences, goals and challenges. This will help us create a collaborative, customized approach that fosters growth and healing. We will focus our work on the core issues for not only symptom reduction, but faster recovery. I’ve found that this approach is the best for sustainable, long-term results. My main objective is to help my clients feel supported and empowered through gaining concrete tools and increased self-awareness. Often it is as simple as a shift in your thought process and suddenly a light bulb will go off and the momentum kicks in!

I am a down to earth, calm and methodical person who has a genuine passion for helping people get the changes they want in their lives through our work together. My clinical perspective has been formed over the course of my career, working in many different kinds of clinical settings. I believe at the core of change for all of us is a combination of empowerment and getting to the root cause of our challenge.
